Referrals to other social service agencies for medical care, prescriptions, clothing, housing assistance, and utility assistance
Mail service, including receiving, sorting, and distribution of mail
Application assistance for SNAP (food stamps), CHIPS, and MHMR
On-site representatives from various social services agencies, such as VA Assistance, Tarrant Area Food Bank, SNAP, Health Services of North Texas, and Prevent Blindness Texas.
On-site access to laundry machines

ID ASSISTANCE
Our Daily Bread ID
Upon enrollment, guests receive a plastic Our Daily Bread ID card which displays their photo, name, birth date, and ODB ID #. This ID is typically accepted as a photo ID around DFW.
Our Daily Bread program coordinators offer assistance to those enrolled in the services program to help navigate the process of obtaining their credentials (birth certificate, driver’s license, SS card, state ID, etc.)

VOUCHERS
At Our Daily Bread we provide guests vouchers for bus, Rx, and gas.
We have agencies that come onsite to provide resources as well. Learn more about our partner agencies here.
Our intake procedure is provided for every new guest and revisited every 6 months.
+ Bus & Train Passes
- AM/PM passes - DCTA for either morning or afternoon
- Local Day Pass - DCTA for one full day (if available)
- Regional Pass - DCTA, Dallas, Fort Worth for one day (if available)
Eligibility Requirements:
- Active ODB Service Program enrollment
- Documentation of one of the following:
- Medical appointment
- Social services appointment
- Job interview
- Ride to work before* guest receives first paycheck
- Family medical emergency
- Guests cannot surpass 6 AM/PM and 2 regional passes per month.
+ Gas Voucher
- $10 gas voucher for Midway gas station
Eligibility Requirements:
- Active ODB Service Program enrollment
- Documentation of one of the following:
- Medical appointment
- Social services appointment
- Job interview
- Ride to work before* guest receives first paycheck
- Family medical emergency
- Guests cannot surpass 2 gas vouchers per quarter
+ Prescription Assistance
- Voucher for prescriptions only redeemable at Allen Pharmacy
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must have an active ODB Program Services Enrollment
- Prescription must be a non-narcotic (usually things like antibiotics)
- Must be under $25
- Guest must have their own prescription filled and transferred to Allen pharmacy
- Cannot be a recurring prescription
