Our Daily Bread is the only low-barrier shelter open seven days a week offering wraparound services for adults experiencing homelessness in Denton County. We provide beds, clothing, hot showers, laundry service, hygiene products, haircuts, computer and phone access, mail services, and other supportive resources for our guests. Pets are welcome!

A limited number of beds become available daily. You must be present to claim a bed at 3:30 PM unless previously verified by staff.
Shelter Guidelines
No outside food or drinks are allowed.
Outside blankets, pillows, or stuffed animals are not permitted. Fresh linens will be provided daily.
We are a drug, alcohol, weapon, and e-cigarette free facility.
Pets are allowed.

Welcome! Join us daily at 3:30 PM (In-Person) to participate in a lottery for bed assignments.

Night Shelter
All guests must be 18 years or older.
Due to our low-barrier model, we do not require a valid ID, background check, or sobriety.
Day Shelter
All are welcome! Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

To ensure you will keep your assigned bed for the week, please make sure you are here on time for check-in everyday.
Check-in: 3:30pm-6pm
Leaving after check-in will forfeit your bed.

If you are unable to make the check-in time due to your work schedule, please meet with an Our Daily Bread staff member to verify your work schedule for accommodations.

Because Our Daily Bread is a low barrier shelter, children are not permitted to stay overnight. However, families and children are welcome to receive daytime services such as meals, collecting hygiene items, etc. If you or a family you know is in need of shelter, please reach out to us directly for assistance and resources.
